Clinical Hypnotherapist

MA, D. Hyp., MBSCH (Member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis)

My Story

Originally from Algeria (northern Africa), I grew up in France and Algeria, spent nearly 30 years in the U.K., and I'm currently living in Spain. I have always evolved in multi-lingual and multi-cultural environments, which helped me live and breathe the interconnectedness and commonalities between us all, as well as grasp the importance of human connection and warmth.

The vast majority of my work has been in, or linked to education and culture. I worked in film curating and film education for many years, as well as at higher education institutions in the U.K..

I mostly loved my work, yet I spent a major chunk of my adult life grappling with childhood trauma and the lingering psychological effects of having lived in Algeria when the civil war broke out in the 1990s.

I was often crippled by severe health issues such as debilitating migraines, depression and Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome (PTSD), despite an otherwise seemingly satisfactory life. Following tuberculosis, I was bed-ridden for a year, after which I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and Fibromyalgia. I was told by doctors that CFS and Fibromyalgia were going to be with me for life, and all I could do was to learn to live with them.

Being a sociable person and at the time on the workaholic side, I was horrified. I was in my thirties, and I could not contemplate constantly worrying about the next relapse for the rest of my life – however long that was going to be! Despite the doctor's incredulity, I refused the diagnoses.

From a young age, I had been fascinated by the inner mental and emotional powers we all possess, and the doctor’s unequivocal statement spurred me into searching for ways to self-heal. I continued researching, studying and experimenting with self-exploration and healing that I had started many years earlier, with renewed determination.

Today, I am completely healed of all the conditions I had, and my health has never been better.

I was helped along the way by talking therapies and Eastern Medicine, such as Chinese Traditional Medicine, Acupuncture and Ayurveda, but I wish I had come across hypnotherapy sooner, because it would have saved me years and years of painstaking - though ultimately fruitful, inner search and emotional healing.

Having been there and back, I have made it my mission to guide women on their own journey of healing and self-transformation, so that they can become their best self and live life to its fullest.

If you want to be empowered to fully manifest your inner visions in the outer world, I’d love to hear from you. The world needs to hear your voice, now more than ever. It doesn’t have to take you years, and you don’t have to do it alone.

I look forward to facilitating your next journey.
