My Healing Journey

After a bout of depression in my thirties, I was diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), despite an otherwise seemingly satisfactory life. I had known childhood trauma, and lived through part of the civil war in my native Algeria, and old experiences and stories had finally caught my full attention...

Soon after, I was unexpectedly diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis. I was bed-ridden for a year, after which I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and Fibromyalgia.

I was told by doctors that CFS and Fibromyalgia were going to be with me for life, and all I could do was to learn to live with them. I refused to accept this prognosis as I was convinced my body was trying to 'speak' to me somehow...

The doctor’s unequivocal statement that I would have these illnesses for life, spurred me into searching for ways to listen to my self and heal. I earnestly turned inwards, and went back to yoga and meditation, and in recent years, I've been practising self-hypnosis and Qigong.

I continued researching, studying and experimenting on myself with the wondrous and creative ways in which our system consistently attempts to reach homeostasis (balance), sending us messages through our mind, our body and most importantly - our emotions.

And today, after life-changing explorations, I am completely healed. In fact, I've never been better.

Having been there and back, I have made it my mission to guide women on their own journey of profound transformation and self-mastery. Join me.
